Children Worry about their future
In Kampala, Uganda,a young girl worries about what will happen to her and her brother when their grandmother dies. Their grandmother who is looking after them is not in the best of health. Like many African children, they are being raised by
their grandmother. Their parents died of AIDS and now they are at risk of being orphaned for the second time. Despite the success stories from Uganda, there is
still a great need for intervention with the emphasis on the increasing number of orphans. PWRDF partners with the Church of Uganda’s Planning, Development and Rehabilitation Department in supporting the orphans and child-headed households.
