Ribbon shaped around the altar

St. Timothy's used the PWRDF World AIDS Day Vigil and incorporated the Ribbon of Hope in the service. "We arranged the Ribbon in the familiar AIDS ribbon shape - starting with the altar and extending it out to the sides of the centre aisle. As a part of the service the congregation was invited to lift a part of the Ribbon and we carried it to the side of the church where everyone could read the heartfelt messages printed on the denim squares. Squares of fabric were available for members of our congregation who wished to print their own messages. We sent them along with the Ribbon when we returned it".
