Use the PWRDF in the World Bulletin Cover as a way to raise awareness about the work of PWRDF in your parish. Talk to your priest about using the Bulletin Cover for Sunday services - perhaps on a Sunday when you talk about PWRDF programs and make an appeal for support. It is a compelling public awareness tool, with information about water and how you can help. Or use as the cover for information materials and schedules when you organize a PWRDF educational event.

Children's Story for Sunday morning
September 20, 2009
In Anglican parishes across the country a few minutes of the service is dedicated to the children of the parish. It is a time to discuss something related to the theme or readings for the service of the day, on a Sunday when you are highlighting The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF). This story, based on Luke 18:18-23, the Rich Ruler, encourages you and the children to discuss the concept of giving to others. Use and adapt this story as you are comfortable. Thanks to Ruby Mann for developing this story for PWRDF.

Children's Board Game: Spending Time with Patience
September 20, 2009
New this year is a children’s game, Spending Time with Patience, which includes an instruction booklet and board game. The game was prepared by Presbyterian World Service & Development and refers to projects and work done by them. Even though PWRDF does not work in Malawi, we feel this will be an appropriate learning tool for young children in the age range 9 – 14. For comparisons to the work that PWRDF does in neighbouring countries in eastern and southern Africa, please visit www.pwrdf.org/stories/africa-stories/. These stories make good companion pieces as you play the game.
