Collaborating with God
One of the wonderful things is how God depends on all of us, which is actually mind boggling because here you have God who is omnipotent and yet waits on human creatures to be God's partners and collaborators. Each one of us has a contribution, each and every one of us.

Homilies

Give a PWRDF Homily

The testimony of a committed individual that is known to the community can be highly motivational. You don't need to be an expert on development issues or a professional theologian to speak about PWRDF in a homily. To prepare a PWRDF homily consider the following:

  • Give a brief account of your own involvement and explain why you are committed to PWRDF;
  • Consider the listener's perspective and potential areas of interest/concern;
  • Include a biblical reflection / link to the lectionary in your own words;
  • Incorporate the use of a symbol;
  • Give an overview of the PWRDF program;
  • Use concrete examples of PWRDF work;
  • Summarize with an invitation to join in support and thank people for their contributions.
