Environment Justice Camp, May 13-19, 2007 Victoria
This is an intergenerational event -- join us -- whatever your age! PWRDF will pay full registration for first-time attendees and 1/2 for returning attendees. Youth Council, May 11-12, 2007 Victoria
The PWRDF Youth Council will be meeting for two days from May 11-12 in Victoria, B.C. at St. John the Divine Anglican Church. Rob Shearer, PWRDF's Youth Initiative Staff, will be in Coquitlam, Vancouver and Colwood in the week surrounding the council for various diocesan and parish events.
March 11-22, 2007 Mexico Delegation
In an effort to raise awareness about, and provide support to PWRDF partners and their work in Mexico, a delegation of 9 people made up of PWRDF Board of Directors, Network members, and staff visited Mexico from March 11-22, 2007.

School of the Americas Pilgrimage
About 10 PWRDF-affiliated young adults along with at least 100 other Canadians attended the annual Pilgrimage to close the School of the Americas in Ft. Benning Georgia. The group included theology students, members of the PWRDF Youth Initiative Network and Youth Council, and the Rev. Lucy Reid, Anglican/Ecumenical Chaplain at the University of Guelph. Along the way we visited Jubilee Partners, an intentional Christian community which houses refugees. Read the reflections from the participants.

Nidus Music and Arts Festival 2006
Nidus 2006 is a Christian music and arts festival in Kitchener, Canada, was sponsored by the Canadian Council of Churches. A celebration of unity and justice, Nidus 2006 was the first festival of its kind in Canada. The festival included many expressions of Christian faith through music concerts, dramatic and dance performances, worship, prayer and workshops. Simultaneously, through keynote lectures, workshops and interactive media kiosks, participants were mobilized to take action against the HIV/AIDS crisis.
Advocacy Justice Camp, May 2006
Seeking Justice, Engaging the Powers
The Diocese of Ottawa hosted the second "Justice Camp" : Seeking Justice, Engaging the Powers, for youth and adults, May, 8-14, 2006.
Through theological reflection, analysis, and community building, participants explored how Christians can engage government, media, and corporations to advance the cause of social justice in a manner consistent with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The camp took place over a week at St. Paul's University in Ottawa. Participants went on intensive exposure visits in and around the Nation's Capital, and met with activists, journalists, and politicians who are involved with issues like affordable housing, international development, urban and rural poverty, Indigenous justice, and ecology. Afterwards, they came together to explore the interconnections of their immersion experiences with faith, theology, and spirituality.'

Diocese of Ontario AIDS Awareness Kenya Trip, March 2006
Eleven members from the Diocese of Ontario, including young people, traveled to Kenya on an AIDS awareness trip. They visited two Christian Community Services organizations covering eight dioceses in the Mount Kenya and Mount Kenya East regions.
