Public Engagement Program

Education and Action

Early on in our history, through increased involvement with development partners, PWRDF recognized the need for Canadian Anglicans to be aware of the underlying causes of poverty and injustice in the world and to come together to act for change. PWRDF seeks to be a part of the outreach and social justice ministry of every parish. In cooperation with other churches and with broader social networks, PWRDF is a part of a wide faith-based social justice community that comes together in educational events, analysis and reflection, campaigns, worship and solidarity.

Communications

Communication plays a vital role within the organization, by linking PWRDF’s Canadian constituency with the stories of our work. The stories tell of the work done by PWRDF’s partners and the challenges and issues they face. The stories of PWRDF partners would not be told if it were not for the combined efforts and partnership of Canadian Anglicans and the organizations with which PWRDF works throughout the world.
