August 9th, 2005: Congo Human Rights Activist Killed PWRDF Partner Murdered in Democratic Republic of Congo Pascal Kabungulu was the Secretary-General of Hertiers de la Justice (Heirs of Justice), a leading human rights organization in the Democratic Republic of Congo, was assassinated in his home in Bukavu, eastern Congo, in the early hours of July 31.
