About This Site

About the Design

Our website's design highlights the richness of the cultures with whom we live and work, through colour and photos. The photos that appear in the header of each page feature textiles and other crafts from around the world, showcasing the vibrant spirit and diversity of the people we serve, as well as the Primate's Fund's wide reach. Our colour palette draws on warm earth tones to create a welcoming space and enhance the positive change for which the Primate's Fund stands.

Using This Site

This site has been designed to aid usability for site users. Among the features that we have included are:

  • The site has been built using Cascading Stylesheets (CSS) which decrease the download time of the site, making it more accessible for those with slower connections to the internet both in North America and in the other regions of the world that we serve.
  • The site is also accessible for use by disabled users who use screen-reading devices such as JAWS.
